Peter Wright
Peter has owned AmeriSpec of the Fraser Valley since 2000. Previously he was a Police officer in both the United Kingdom and in Toronto. He has also completed home renovations in both countries. Where he formerly investigated crimes he now uses his investigative skills in the field of home inspections. He is a Registered Home Inspector with the Canadian Association of Home Inspectors and has attended BCIT for Home inspection and Building Code courses.
Having moved across an ocean, Peter is very sensitive to the distractions and concerns involved in moving and buying a new home. The last thing a client needs to worry about is the condition of their new home. Peter’s attention to detail and experience will help you make an informed decision regarding your families new home.
Peter is also a Certified Energy Advisor and has been involved in both the Federal Governments Energuide for Houses program and now the EcoEnergy retrofit program. He has been completing energy audits since 2002 and can be seen on the BC Livesmart website discussing various aspects of home energy efficiency. He has also appeared on a CTV news feature regarding the EcoEnergy/BC Livesmart initiative.

Allan Tjepkema
Allan started with AmeriSpec in March 2008 after completing training to become a certified energy evaluator. He has an extensive knowledge of house building from 15 years of house construction and renovating. Allan has also completed the BCIT home Inspection course as well as Building code. Allan's experience in house construction will ensure the advice you receive is current and the whole procedure is effortless and easy to understand.
